Eruption of the world's largest mud volcano
Baku/01.03.18/Turan: Today, on March 1, there was an eruption of the largest mud volcano in the world.
The volcano, which bears the name of Toragay, is located in the vicinity of Baku in the Karadak district.
The eruption was recorded by the National Academy of Sciences of Azerbaijan at 04:38 hours.
To date, there have been 10 eruptions of this volcano. The last time the eruption was observed 30 years ago - in 1988. -0-
