Ex-employee of the Ministry of Defense Detained in Moscow was a Financier (Updated)
Azerbaijani Defense Ministry confirmed that Ilgar Heydar oglu Yadigarov who was recently detained in Moscow is a former employee of the agency.
He was a financier and served in various military units; he was fired in 2011 for not matching the service requirements.
Later he was wanted on charges of embezzlement and official forgery. -16/06B--

Baku/10.01.13/Turan : On January 10 at Moscow's Domodedovo airport, police arrested a former employee of the Azerbaijani Defense Ministry , accused of embezzling 125,000 USD and being on the international wanted list. The capture of the former official was conducted with the help of collaborators Irkutsk branch of Interpol, according to the press service of the Interior Ministry in the main Irkutsk region. The former employee was identified as Ilgar Heydar oglu Yadigarov, born in 1965, who was discharged in 2011.
Detention of the Azerbaijani citizen was conducted by the Russian Ministry of Internal Affairs of the linear control at Domodedovo airport, having received timely information from employees of the Irkutsk Interpol.
Law enforcement agencies of Azerbaijan announced that a detainee is wanted on suspicion of fraud . According to investigators, in 2010 while he was working for the Defense Ministry of Azerbaijan he forged accounting records, resulting in the military department of the republic losing about 125,000 USD.
According to Russian police, in 2011 Yadigarov crossed the border of the Russian Federation under a different name with false documents . Later he moved to the village Hudoelanskoe of the Nizhneudinsk district of the Irkutsk region, where he began to work as a laborer .
"Suspecting that he was being followed, the decoy suddenly disappeared from the detectives. Operational channels revealed that the sought was trying to leave Russia and flew by air for the transit in Moscow," is said in the statement on the website of the Interior Ministry by the chief of the Irkutsk Region . On Tuesday, the General Prosecutor's Office announced the initiation of new criminal cases against agricultural product exporters who allegedly concealed their earnings abroad. Specifically, the Sumgayit City Prosecutor's Office has opened a criminal case under Articles 208.2.1 and 208.2.2 (failure to return foreign currency to the country in large amounts by prior agreement of a group of individuals) and Article 308.2 (abuse of office causing serious consequences) against officials of the company "SOİL BOONS" LLC – Jahangir Aliyev, Elyar Gadzhiev, Mehman Mirzamedev, Saleh Gabilov, and Aly Aliyev.
