Azerbaijani Defense Ministry has clarified the situation with calling officers and soldiers of the reserve to military exercises. The ministry noted that the 6,000 reservists were called in connection with the September 6-13 large-scale command-staff exercise with the participation of all kinds and types of troops.
Earlier it was reported that the number of personnel involved in the exercises amounts to 65 thousand men. -06D-

As part of the struggle against illegal migration in Baku city, operative actions were carried out at different addresses. The Interior Ministry reports that employees of the Department for Combating Illegal Migration identified and detained 34 foreigners without documents giving the right to reside and stay on the territory of Azerbaijan.
