Family of Armenian Political Refugees Left Azerbaijan
On April 22 the Martirosyan family of three was sent from Baku to a third country. Turan was reported by the human rights activist Novella Jafaroglu.
Recall that Vahan Martirosyan with his wife and young son asked for political asylum in Azerbaijan, and it was granted to them.
After a press conference in Baku, Martirosyan said that he was forced to take this step because of the persecution for his political activities by the Armenian authorities.
Once in Baku, Martirosyan's family appealed to foreign embassies for the purpose of travel to one of the western countries. Such an opportunity was given to them. -05B-
