Fence of infield of the editor realliq.info is illegally demolished

Baku/03.03.17/Turan: On the night of March 3, the employees of the SOCAR pipeline protection service came to the home site of the editor-in-chief of realliq.info Ikram Rahimov's in the settlement of Mehdiabad in Baku, and demolished a stone fence.

As was reported earlier, on the night of November 23, 2017, strangers illegally entered the house of Ikram Rahimov in Mehdiabad settlement, and stole his laptop and processor with a monitor.

Before that, the website realliq.info and 13 other information sites were blocked by the Ministry of Communications at the call of the Press Council, which unfoundedly accused Internet resources of racketeering and introduced them into the so-called "black list".

The websites wrote about illegal enrichment by members of the board of the Press Council, about the arbitrariness of officials and corruption.

The leaders of the blocked websites of Azerbaijan, called the Public Policy Division of the Presidential Administration, the Press Council and the Media Development Support Fund the culprit.

The actions of the Press Council and the blocking of websites are recognized by media experts as illegal. The Press Council's appeal to the Ministry of Communications with an appeal to block websites and block them without a court decision is illegal, Turan was told by the well-known media expert Alesker Mammadli.

Subsequently, the Ministry of Communications stated that it was not involved in the blockage. The editor sued the Communications Ministry in connection with the blocking of websites, but so far the court hearings have not taken place. By this time 7 domains with the name realliq, belonging to Rahimov, have been illegally blocked.
