Fire which began at night on August 18 at the offshore gas condensate field "Bulla-Deniz" in the Azerbaijani sector of the Caspian Sea, has not yet been extinguished, according to informed source in the state company SOCAR. The fire began in the exploration well N 29 during a drilling at a depth of six kilometers. At this point, there was an open gushing gas, which caught fire. The workers on the platform were evacuated. "Bulla-Deniz" is in the open sea, in 80 km to the south of Baku. -03D-
