Forecasters reported a sharp deterioration in the weather and a cold snap
Baku/20.11.23/Turan: On November 20, from noon until the evening of November 21, the north-westerly wind in Baku and Absheron, is expected to increase to 15-20 and gusts up to 23-28 meters per second, forecasters of the Ministry of Ecology reported. Precipitation is expected, in some places of a stormy nature.The air temperature will drop to +11+13 degrees during the day.
Throughout the country, unstable weather with precipitation is observed in the Western region of Azerbaijan, which will also last until the night of November 21.
Heavy rains will take place in Nakhchivan, Eastern Zangezur, Karabakh, the Ganja-Gazakh zone, in the mountains of the Greater Caucasus, as well as in the central region, and the Lankaran-Astara region. The air temperature in the lowlands during the day will be +11 + 16 degrees. In the mountains there will be -2-6 at night and -2+3 in the afternoon. The strength of the westerly wind will be 15-20 meters per second and gusts up to 23-28 meters. An increase in water content in the rivers is expected. -0-
