Former Head of Nikoil Bank Detained in Moscow
Moscow / 18.09.18 / Turan: Former Chairman of the Board of Azerbaijan's Nikoil Bank Vasily Khamaza was detained in Moscow. This was reported this morning by the city news agency Moscow.
The new management of the bank accused Khamaza of appropriating 20 million manat and abuse of power.
60-year-old Khamaza was detained on September 17, as he was in federal and international criminal investigation. At present, he is at the disposal of the Cheryomushki Inter-district Prosecutor's Office.
Khamaza was wanted at the request of law enforcement agencies of Azerbaijan.
Khamaza was the head of Nikoil Bank in the period 2005 - 2017. -02D-

The charges in the so-called "Toplum TV Case" have reportedly been escalated, with the investigation nearing its conclusion.
