Government reduces the cost of public services, expert
Transfer of government departments in the status of legal persons of public law aims to relieve the state from the burden of maintenance of these structures, and allow them to provide services on a commercial basis. Such an opinion in an interview with Turan expressed expert in the field of law Alasgar Mammadli commenting on the presidential decree of November 24, on the transformation of state agencies in 9 legal entities of public law, and their withdrawal from the system of controls.
The expert believes that these structures will be allowed to expand the range of services provided on a commercial basis. In the future, some of them can be corporatized or privatized.
According to the decree, the status of legal entity of public law will find: State Agency of Housing with the country's president; Copyright Agency, State Agency for Alternative and Renewable Energy Sources; State news agency reported, Historical-Architectural Reserve "Icherisheher", Primorsky Boulevard, Baku Transport Agency, the State Agency for Compulsory Health Insurance and Translation Centre.
Earlier, the same status was given to the Examination center created on the basis of the State Commission for Student Admission and Commission for state service.—06В--
