Heavy Rains Damage Houses in Lankaran
Intense rains in the southern region of the country caused a disaster in the Lankaran region last night. According to the Ministry of Emergency (MOE), the showers have led to flooding of several residential houses in the village Burchaly. Rescuers evacuated 18 people (5 families) from the flooded premises.
Rescue operations were completed at 3:32 a.m., the MOE said.
Meanwhile, the rainfall continues with less intensity in the Talysh Mountains and other regions of the country.
