Heavy rains damaged a number of regions
As a result of intensive rains in lowlands infrastructure and farms in Azerbaijani regions was damaged.
According to the Ministry for Emergency Situations (MES), in the village of Eniche in Yevlakh region, several yards of private homes were flooded; MES attracted equipment for pumping water.
In the northern parts of the country water level in the rivers Turyanchay, Demirparanchai and Girdiman has raised. Mudslides destroyed bridges in Agdash and Ismayilli regions. As a result, traffic was restricted.
According to weather forecasts, the weather in Azerbaijan on September 13 will be relatively stable.
