Heavy road accident on Baku-Sumqayit motorway
Two dozen people were injured in a collision between two route buses on Friday afternoon on the Baku-Sumqayit highway.
Turan TəBİB (united management of territorial medical units) reports that the call to the ambulance about the victims of the accident was received at 11.20 a.m. Eight ambulance crews were sent to the scene.
One person died before the arrival of medics, 18 more victims with various injuries were taken to the Sumgayit medical center.
Two people were placed in intensive care in a serious condition. The rest are being treated in the "Ambulance" department, their condition is assessed as medium severity.
