Last night snow fell almost all over the country. Most of all it fell in the Talysh Mountains, reaching 12-cm thickness in Lerik.
In the mountains of the Greater Caucasus (Agsu, Ismayilli and Gabala) the thickness of the snow was 3-5 cm, in the northern region it was 2-3 cm, and in the low-lying area it was 1 cm.
Last night the air temperature in Baku and Absheron sank to minus 2 degrees. In Nakhchivan it was -7 -11, and in the highlands of the Greater Caucasus it was -13 -16.
On 23 November the snowfall will continue against the backdrop of a strong northwest wind, which will change to the northeast in the afternoon.
The temperature will be 0 -2 degrees at night and + 1 + 3 in the daytime.
In regions intense snowfall is expected in the mountains. The air temperature will drop to 5 degrees below zero at night, and + 1 + 5 in daytime. In the highlands it will be up to 10 degrees Celsius below zero. -02D-

On Sunday, December 22, changeable cloudy weather is expected in Baku and the Absheron Peninsula. Drizzle is possible during the night and morning in some areas of the peninsula. Moderate southwest winds will prevail. The air temperature will be 5-8°C at night and 9-11°C during the day, according to the National Hydrometeorological Service of the Ministry of Ecology.

Last night, three earthquakes occurred along the Armenia-Azerbaijan border with magnitudes of 4.8, 3.0, and 3.8, according to the Republican Center for Seismological Service of the National Academy of Sciences of Azerbaijan. The Ministry of Emergency Situations reported no information about any destruction or casualties as a result of the earthquakes.
