Hot weather will last till August 17
The hot and stifling weather will continue until August 17, according to weather forecasters. Doctors recommend to meteo-dependent people not to stay under the sun in the daytime.
During this period, air temperature in Baku and Absheron will be 35-38 degrees, and on some days, it will be up to 40 degrees. At night, the temperature will be 22-26 degrees.
In regions and in the lowlands of the country the weather will be the same, temperature will rise to 40 degrees, in the mountains - 29-34 degrees.
As a result of such hot weather, in many regions water sources and medium-sized rivers have dried up. Dry weather contributes to forest fires and agricultural crops are dying. Crops of grain and other cereals have also been damaged. -03D-
