Baku / 12.05.17 / Turan: The State Border Service of the country reported on violations of the border in April, detaining 40 people. According to the press service of the ministry on Friday, among the detained are 13citizens of Azerbaijan, 5 - Iraq, 4 Uzbekistan and Tajikistan, 3 - Pakistan and Iran, 2 - Georgia, Nigeria and Ghana and one from Turkey and one from Cameroon. It is not reported for whatever reason, these individuals were detained and what measures were taken against them.
As part of measures to combat crime, 323 people who were wanted, were detained and handed over to law enforcement bodies. More than 10kilo of various drugs were detected and seized.
Smuggling amounting 555368 manats, including three anti-tank, hunting rifles and accessories.
Among the confiscated propaganda: a compass, a hunting knife, a half kilogram of mercury, 44 silver items, 10 boats, 7 electronic cash registers, 12 kilo of leeches, as well as cigarettes, mobile phones, various types of medicines, including 17 bottles of spirits, agricultural and industrial products of Armenian origin. -02D-
