In Ganja, a PFPA activist was accused of distributing drugs
Baku/29.11.21/Turan: Activist of the Party of People's Front of Azerbaijan (PPFA) Shahin Hajiyev was detained by Ganja city police on November 26, this was reported to Turan by the PPFA. The same source added that his house was searched.
According to the PPFA, the authorities are eager to initiate a criminal case on drugs against Hajiyev, who is a chess coach.
PPFA leader Ali Kerimli believes that Hajiyev is being persecuted for political reasons. According to him, this year alone, Hajiyev has been detained by police several times and twice subjected to administrative arrests for 30 days.
"The constant pressures on Hajiyev by the police are due to his statuses on social networks. This time they want to punish him more severely.
The press service of the Ministry of Internal Affairs confirmed information about the detention of Hajiyev on drugs suspicion. "An investigation is currently underway," the press service said.-06D-
