In the first quarter of the year 62 people died in accident
Baku/19.04.17/Turan: In the first quarter of 2017, 2,269 natural and man-made cases were registered in Azerbaijan, by 625 cases (38%) more than in the same period of last year, the country's Emergencies Ministry reported.
As a result of man-made disasters, 31 people died and 106 were wounded.
During this period, 24 people were killed in the fires, 64 injured, by 7 more than last year's deaths, and 35 injured. The overall increase in casualties was 121%. For the first quarter, there were 31 explosions, by 10 cases more than last year. At the same time, 7 people died, and 42 were injured. -05D-
