IPD: Provocation against Leyla Yunus is prepared
Provocation against Leyla Yunus, Director of the Institute for Peace and Democracy (IPD) is preparing for the purpose of her arrest, the message of the IPD reads.
"On July 9, 2014 the Institute of Peace and Democracy received information from Office of the President from the opponents of increased repression in Azerbaijan.
Information reads: the head of department on work with law enforcement agencies of Azerbaijan Presidential Administration, Fuad Aleskerov, and head of the department for social and political issues, Ali Hasanov, were instructed to think and organize a provocation against Yunus with a view to her delivery to the police and subsequent detention," reads the information sent to Turan by the IMD.
Provocation should have the character of power clashes - insult, fight, charged with applying abusive actions. "Provocateurs can come to the press conference held by Leyla Yunus under the guise of journalists or ordinary citizens seeking help, etc." reads the information. The regime continues attack of its opponents by criminal methods and processes," reads the message from the IPD. Turan failed to get comments on this issue in the presidential administration. –06D-
