Baku/19.09.18/Turan: Customs officers at the Astara checkpoint detained Iranian citizen Mahdiogli Rogaye, who was trying to transport to Azerbaijan powder packed in cellophane bags in her personal bag. During the inspection, it was found that 555 grams of heroin were contained in the packages, stated the message of the Customs Committee of Azerbaijan. -02D-

As part of the struggle against illegal migration in Baku city, operative actions were carried out at different addresses. The Interior Ministry reports that employees of the Department for Combating Illegal Migration identified and detained 34 foreigners without documents giving the right to reside and stay on the territory of Azerbaijan.
