Iranian Drug Couriers Seized More Than 17 kg of Drugs
Baku / 22.04.20 / Turan: On April 15, two Iranian citizens were detained on the Azerbaijani-Iranian border, near the border section of Horadiz. Border guards seized more than 5 kg of various types of drugs, including heroin, marijuana, methadone, matamphetamine and opium, from them.
On April 19, another attempt to smuggle drugs was suppressed at the same site. The intruder noticed by the border guards was able to escape back, leaving more than 11 kg of marijuana, 620 grams of heroin and a Magnum pistol with ammunition on the scene.
