Journalist Interrogated in Prosecutor's Office
Baku / 26.07.17 / Turan: The journalist Ayten Farhadova was questioned in the Office for Grave Crimes on July 25 for about four hours. She said she was interrogated in connection with the criminal case of the arrested journalist Afgan Mukhtarly and the Internet resource Meydan TV.
"As in previous times (the journalist was interrogated earlier), traditional questions were asked, but the questions were asked in a more detailed way this time. However, in view of the investigation secrets, the journalist did not disclose the details. Ayten Farhadova was interrogated as a witness.
As already reported, the case of Afgan Mukhtarly was merged with the case of Meydan TV. In this case the journalists Aynur Elgunesh, Izolda Aghayeva, Sevinj Vagifgyzy, Aytaj Ahmedova, Khadija Ismail, Islam Shikhali, Natik Javadli, current and former Musavat party leaders Arif Hajily and Isa Gambar have been already interrogated. -0-
