Karabakh war veterans assigned protest in central Baku on December 28
A group of Karabakh war veterans gathered today in front of Hospital N5, where the Karabakh war invalid Zaur Hasanov, who committed self-immolation, was placed.
They expressed solidarity with Hasanov, who committed this desperate step in protest against the confiscation of his cafe on the beach in the village Bibiheybat.
One of the protesters, adviser of PPFA, Asif Yusifli, said that veterans are not allowed to meet with Hasanov, whose state of health remains difficult.
The hospital doctors also report on the critical condition of Hasanov.
Yusifli created a Facebook group "Do not burn the veterans!" This group announced a protest against the violation of Hasanov's rights in Fountain Square in Baku on December 28 at 15:00.
The participants intend to demand an apology from the head of the Azerbaijan Trade Union Confederation, MP Sattar Mehbalyev, cancellation of the injustice committed against the disabled man and restoration of his property.
The Central Police Department of Baku City, in turn, said that any attempt to hold an unauthorized action will be suppressed. -16D-
