Khadija Ismayilovas Niece Questioned by Police
Baku / 07.03.18 / Turan: Elmira Rahimova, the niece of the investigative journalist Khadija Ismayilova, was questioned in the 4th branch of the Binagadi district police department on March 7. She was released an hour later, Ismayilova told Turan.
Rahimova was questioned about her social and political activities. Ismayilova regarded the niece's challenge to the police as pressure on activists before the March 10 rally.
"Elmira does not take an active part in public life because of her studies, but she is my niece," Ismayilova said. -03B06-
