Baku / 16.05.18 / Turan: Lawyer Javad Javadov, who defends the interests of the PFPA activist Mirfeyzullah Setidov, appealed to Prosecutor General Zakir Garalov on changing the measure of restraint to his client.
The lawyer justified his appeal with a serious illness of Seyidov and asked the Prosecutor General to submit an idea of the cancellation of the measure of restraint.
The lawyer visited Seyidov on May 15 in a remand center, fixing a sharp deterioration of his client.
"Seyidov has a chronic kidney disease, he is an invalid of the first group, and he must undergo a haemodialysis procedure three times a week. In addition, he has diabetes mellitus, sugar nephropathy, hypertension, and anemia. A year ago he underwent heart surgery by stenting.
In the Baku detention center he was provided with dialysis, however he needs medical supervision, special nutrition and medication. At the very least, he must be in the medical Institution," the lawyer said.
The lawyer added all the documents related to Seyidov's diseases to his appeal to the Prosecutor General.
Seyidov was detained on May 9 and charged under Article 234.4.3 (selling drugs on a large scale). On May 10, the Narimanov court authorized his arrest. -16D-
