The 144-year way of the national press, the scandal between the two government agencies, the monopoly on the Internet system are the topics of today's media.

The newspaper "Azerbaijan" writes about the 144th anniversary of the national press. The author makes an excursion into history, tells about the first national newspaper "Ekinchi", which was issued only 56 times, and tells about the Soviet period of the Azerbaijani press. It is further noted that after the return of Heydar Aliyev to power, censorship was eliminated, and journalists were able to express their opinions freely. Thus, according to the author, having lived for 144 years, the Azerbaijani press, guided by its national traditions, adequately serves its people.

Experts see a way out in the privatization of the heating system, which has long been practiced in many countries, including Russia.

The site "Cebhe-info" writes about the Internet monopoly in Baku. The author notes that this is especially observed in new buildings, since only one provider services a specific new building. And this is despite the fact that there are enough provider companies in the country. But in reality 3-4 provider companies can be used in buildings, which is a gross violation of consumer rights. -0-
