Mi-8 Helicopter Made Emergency Landing, No Casualties
Baku / 27.05.17 / Turan: On May 27, the helicopter Mi-8 of Silk Way Helicopters Services made an emergency landing on the island of Chilov in the Caspian Sea.
On board the helicopter there were 15 passengers and 3 crew members. During the successful landing, none of the people were injured. The aircraft was not damaged, either.
The reason for the emergency landing of the helicopter, which was flying to the field Oil Rocks, was the failure of one of the engines. This was reported by the press service of the company.
"The passengers will be delivered to their destination by another helicopter of Silk Way Helicopters," the report said.
