Mosques and sanctuaries are ready to receive the guests of Islamic Olympiad
Baku/26.04.17/Turan: All conditions are created in the mosques and sanctuaries of Azerbaijan for the performance of religious rites by the guests of the Islamic Olympiad. The arrival of 3.000 athletes from 57 countries and 15.000 tourists is expected in Baku in the Fourth Games of Islamic solidarity. The State Committee for Work with Religious Organizations and the Caucasus Muslims Department sent recommendations to the mosque and sanctuary in order to provide conditions for guests to perform Muslim rites. There are 2,166 mosques in Azerbaijan, including 136 in Baku.
Along with this, the places of worship are 748 sanctuaries, of which 25 are in Baku and on Apsheron.-06D--

One more child, who was injured in a road accident in Imishli region on 18 January, died in Baku hospital. Despite the efforts of doctors, the life of the minor born in 2015 could not be saved.

Opposition members detained for critical social media posts were released on the same day, with no reports of mistreatment by authorities, Musavat Party deputy chairman Mustafa Hajibeyli told Turan news agency.
