On the 21st anniversary of the occupation of Shusha in Nagorno-Karabakh, a new website - http://shusha.info/index.php appeared, dedicated to this cultural center of Azerbaijan.
The developer of the site is the electronic library SHUSHA.INFO, established in the framework of the organization of cognitive resources of Azerbaijan.
The site contains information about the history of Shusha and the Karabakh khanate, and it's entrance into the Russian Empire. Additional information on ethnic clashes of the early 20th century, the Armenian-Azerbaijani conflict, and Shusha's occupation and its consequences are also found on the site.
The unit, Known People, from Shusha contains information about famous natives of Shusha, both Azerbaijanis and Armenians.
The Photo Gallery contains photographic evidence of Shusha's past and its destruction after the occupation. -06D-

November 8 is celebrated as Victory Day in Azerbaijan. In 2020, Azerbaijan restored its territorial integrity through a 44-day war and a one-day military operation in 2023.
