Number of Victims of Terrorist Assault in Istanbul Reaches 43
The victims of the terrorist assault in Istanbul's airport were 43 people, 39 of them identified. The website Haber 7 TV channel reported this with reference to the Istanbul forensic bureau.
Earlier official reports were of 36 people dead and 147 injured. According to the channel, among the dead, there are eight foreigners, including one citizen of Uzbekistan and one Ukrainian. Another five are with dual citizenship (one - Turkey and China and four - Turkey and Saudi Arabia).
Personality of the four dead is not yet identified.
It is now known about three terrorists who participated in the attack. One of them opened fire with an automatic weapon on the people located around and then blew himself up. The second terrorist was wounded, but he still managed to make the blasting. On the third terrorist nothing is reported.
