Observer at Referendum Jamil Hajiyev Detained
Baku / 26.09.16 / Turan: A youth activist Jamil Hajiyev was detained on Monday, when he expressed protest against the falsification of the referendum on amendments to the Azerbaijani Constitution. It happened at the 22nd polling station of No 21 First Nasimi Constituency.
Hajiyev expressed his protest against the permission for 4-5 people, who were seen in the participation in the referendum at another polling station, to vote at Station No 22.
The hastily called law enforcement officers took Hajiyev to the 19th police station of the Nasimi District Police. Thereafter, calls did not reach his mobile phone.
