Ogtay Gyulalyev is already in a wheelchair
Baku/21.02.20/Turan: The dynamics of the status of human rights activist Ogtay Gyulalyev, who is undergoing treatment at the American clinic in Istanbul, is positive, the attending doctors say.
His wife, Firuza khanum, told Turan that Ogtay was kept upright every day for half an hour with the help of assistive devices, and he was sitting in a wheelchair several times a day for an hour.
“In his eyes, the reaction shows that he likes to sit in the wheelchair and especially at the window,” she said.
His physician Mehdi Sasani, expects that the patient’s health will further improve in the next two weeks. According to him, it is clear that Ogtay wants to express himself, but so far, he cannot cross the barrier. “We expect this to happen soon,” said the doctor.
Ogtay Gyulalyev was hit by a car when he crossed the road to the green light of the traffic light on October 29. On October 30, he had surgery 18 hours late, which brought him to the brink of death.
On November 5, at the initiative of the Heydar Aliyev Foundation, the human rights activist was sent to Turkey for treatment. The Heydar Aliyev Foundation also took over the financing of the treatment. –0—
