Today, with the participation of President Ilham Aliyev the Palace of Water Sports opened in the settlement Bayil (new part of the Baku Boulevard).
The palace consists of three swimming pools, which will host the upcoming European Games.
The swimming pool is 50 m in length, 25 in width and 2.5 m in depth. It will be used for competitions in various kinds of water sports.
The length of the diving pool is 25 meters, with a height of jumps 1, 3, 5, 7.5 and 10 meters.
The competitions will be watched by 6,000 viewers simultaneously. -06B-
