Parliament hears a report on the fight against human trafficking
Today the Milli Majlis heard the report of the National Coordinator for Combating Human Trafficking, Deputy Interior Minister Vilayat Eyvazov. According to him, in the last three years in the world have been investigated more than 25,000 cases on trafficking; 15.000 people were sentenced, the rights of 133 thousand victimswere restored. In Azerbaijan in 2014 as a result of search operations have been identified 52 victims of human trafficking.
Thirty eight victims were placed in safe houses, where they received medical and psychological assistance; 53 people victims of trafficking have received lump sums. Another 40 people were assisted from the Fund for assistance to victims of trafficking. 24 victims provided with jobs, said Eyvazov.-03D-
