Vugar Lahidzhev, the owner of the car VAZ-07 and participant in the armed incident in the village of Yukhary Tala in Zagatala has been detained, the district police told Turan. The search of the other participants of the incident is conducted.
Recall that on November 24 at 16:00 people in the VAZ-07 shot a car Hyundai driven by a resident of the Balakan district Vusal Alighayev. The passengers, Baku residents Vasif Jafarov and Vugar Radjabov and a resident of the Balakan region Kamil Huseynov died from their wounds. Aligayev himself was hospitalized.
During the investigation it was found that a resident of the Balakan district Samir Osmanov was the shooter.

On December 25, an Embraer 190 passenger plane operated by Azerbaijan Airlines CJSC (AZAL), on a Baku–Grozny flight, crashed near the city of Aktau in Kazakhstan. Azerbaijan’s Consul General in Aktau, Ayxan Suleymanlı, stated that the plane had 67 people onboard, including crew members, 38 of whom died. According to him, 26 of the deceased were Azerbaijani citizens.
