PFPA Activist Emil Iskenderov Arrested for Thirty Days
A member of the Youth Committee of the Popular Front Party of Azerbaijan (PFPA) Emil Iskenderov has been arrested administratively for 30 days on charges of resisting police.
As reported by PFPA, the activist was detained on November 15 in the morning in the village of Bina and taken to the police department of the village Mardakan and then taken to the Yasamal District Police Department of Baku. His family was first reported that Iskenderov was arrested for 5 days. However, later it became known that the activist was arrested for 30 days.
PFPA regarded his arrest as part of repression on opposition-minded young people.
