PFPA Activist Tofig Mammadov Arrested
Baku / 27.02.18i / Turan: Tofig Mammadov, an activist of the Popular Front Party, was arrested in administrative order for 15 days. This decision was taken by the Yasamal District Court on February 23, Turan was told in the party. What exactly is impeached to the activist is still unclear.
The party believes that the reason for the arrest could be an interview with Mammadov on the Internet TV Canal 13, in which he cited police officers who allegedly extorted a bribe from a lemon seller near a subway station, saying "sell drugs but do not sell lemons".
Attorney Asabali Mustafayev intends to meet with Mammadov on February 27. -06D--
