Police refute and confirm ban on the sale of newspapers
Today the Police Headquarters of Baku issued a bizarre claim that the reports of the ban on street sale of newspapers are not true.
But then the claim adds: "Yes, the police together with the municipality conducts measures to eliminate illegal street trading under the prohibited sale of newspapers and magazines on a primitive level."
Next, police say that all this is done at the request of the workers.
As for complaints about illegal actions of the police, the report notes that the municipality of Baku canceled licenses for street sale of newspapers. -03D-
