Police returnes to Yevlah 40 beggars
Police "defused landing" of beggars from Yevlakh region. Approximately 40 beggars arrived in Baku from Yevlakh, including 17 women and 23 young children, but they were returned back, the press service of the Interior Ministry.
Beggars traditionally gather in the capital to collect alms before Ashura mourning, which is marked this year on November 4th.
The Islamic religion is tolerant of alms, and asking for alms is not forbidden.
Most often beggars gather during religious holidays and mourning, as well as near universities during exams , and in front of hospitals. -03D-
