Presentation of the open government information
Ministry of Communications and High Technologies presented the information portal of open government information - www.data.gov.az.
Deputy Minister Elmir Velizade named the new portal a stage of formation of "Electronic Government".
Through the portal www.data.gov.az citizens and business structures will be able to find and use open data bases. The new portal is a collection of materials of state authorities.
The main objective of www.data.gov.az is creating the possibility for easy access to open government information, promote innovative ideas, improving transparency in government, the effectiveness of government agencies.
Director of the Information Technology Centre Mayil Mardanov noted that in 2014 were carried out work on the development of this sector and infrastructure of "electronic government." -02D-
