Attempt to disrupt the OSCE monitoring
Today the Armenian soldiers fired Azerbaijani positions during monitoring by the representatives of the OSCE on the contact line. The incident occurred near the village of Horadiz in Fuzuli region, the press service of the Defense Ministry of Azerbaijan.
According to the same source, Field Assistant of the Personal Representative of the OSCE Chairman, Yevgeny Sharov, noted that, in accordance with predetermined rules, the Azerbaijani side did not open fire, and created the conditions for completion of the monitoring.
The Defence Ministry said that the Armenian side uses any situation for "dirty ideas" and aggravation of the situation. Regular monitoring of the contact line is conducted in accordance with the mandate of the Personal Representative of the OSCE Chairman. -06D-
