Candidacy of Ilham Aliyev at the extraordinary presidential elections and problems with meat production are the leading topics of today's press.
The newspaper Azerbaijan writes that at today's congress of the ruling party Ilham Aliyev will be nominated for the post of the country's President. The author of the article asserts that holding presidential elections in spring or autumn does not change anything, since Ilham Aliyev, who won the high trust of the people, will become the President again. The author gives reasons why his candidacy is non-alternative.
The website Azadliqinfo.az writes that the current government creates problems for the people and therefore remains a stranger to society. However, the authorities pretend that they do not see serious problems in the country and openly lie about great achievements. There is complete injustice in Azerbaijan.
The Novoye Vremya newspaper published an article on the meat market in the country.
The more often the government talks about self-sufficiency with meat, the faster the import of meat, which takes currency from the country.
In the sphere of animal husbandry, meat imports are on the increase, and the number of livestock in Azerbaijan decreases, which will lead to an acute shortage of meat in the future.
