The official newspaper Azerbaijan has published a large article on the role of the Diaspora and the merits of Heydar Aliyev in its creation. He foresaw the potential of the Diaspora and understood the need for its use and association in the name of the national goals and ideas. The newspaper writes about the seminar held by Azerbaijan’s CEC with the European Union on transparency of political party funding. The country has 55 registered political parties, but most of them do not play any role in the socio-political life of the country. One of the reasons is lack of funding. According to the law, financed from the state budget are only parties represented in Parliament. This provides a great opportunity for the ruling party and the other pro-government or "pocket" parties. At the same time, financial statements are required from all parties.

At the same time, the opposition parties are deprived of state funding and are unable to compete with the pro-government forces and subjected to discrimination.

The newspaper predicts a further depreciation of the manat to the US dollar. The expert Natig Jafarli believes the dollar will rise in price after the increase in interest rates by the Federal Reserve System of the USA in June. Expectations of that have already affected the growth of the dollar. He did not rule out that the dollar will rise in price by 15-16% against the manat to 1 USD per 1.65 manats.

Another reason for the growth of the dollar will be the need for banks to meet their obligations to foreign creditors and financial institutions, which will increase the demand for currency.
