Official newspapers wrote about President Ilham Aliyev meeting with Georgian Prime Minister Bidzina Ivanishvili. The same newspaper published a presidential decree to pardon prisoners and on awarding a number of awards to individuals in the Absheron district.

The staff of the newspaper Azadlig is going to hold a protest action in front of the press distribution company Gasid with the requirement to repay the newspaper.

Politicians have called another pardon from President Ilham Aliyev half-hearted.

Human rights activists believe that the non-inclusion of Ali Insanov and Farhad Aliyev (former ministers) to the list of those pardoned means that the President is afraid of them.

All performances of the famous actor Rasim Balayev are eliminated and not allowed to be aired. Balayev said they could not be erased from the history of national cinema.
