The newspaper Azerbaijan writes about the 95th anniversary of Ex-President Heydar Aliyev. The author calls him an outstanding personality of the twentieth century and a national leader. In the most dangerous moments, he fought for statehood. The author goes into digressions, telling us about all the achievements and successes of Heydar Aliyev as head of state.

The newspaper Echo writes about the situation in the banking sector of the country. The process of restoring the banking sector is continuing. Experts note that the restoration and clearing of the Azerbaijani banking sector will continue next year. The general liquidity indicators of local banks leave much to be desired. It is no accident that Fitch's forecast for the Azerbaijani banking sector remains "negative" because of the continued pressure on the quality of bank assets. The banking sector of Azerbaijan cannot cope with its own problems.
