Prosecutor General's Office issued warning to Kanal 13
Baku/23.09.22/Turan: On September 15, the head of the Kanal 13 youtube channel, Aziz Orujev, was summoned to the Prosecutor General's Office, where he was issued a warning.
The press service of the Prosecutor General's Office told Turan that the warning was issued for violating the requirements of the Laws "On Information, Informatization and Information Protection" and "On National Security". The reason is the publication on September 13 this year of video footage damaging the reputation of the Azerbaijani army and casting a shadow on the country's defense capability.
“After the warning, these materials were removed from the channel,” the prosecutor's office further noted.
Orujev himself confirmed the Turan agency that he was called to the Prosecutor's Office and said that his published materials "serve to inform society."
He did not specify what kind of materials he was talking about. The Prosecutor General's Office also does not say what kind of video materials are meant.
Recall that on September 13, the situation on the Armenian-Azerbaijani border escalated and footage from the combat zone appeared on the Internet. Apparently, Channel 13 used these videos.
In turn, the NGO Coalition to Increase Transparency in the Extractive Industry, of which Orujev is a member, condemned the warning to the head of the channel. -21B06-

In 2017, the Sumgayit City Court ruled to evict the Aliyev family—refugees from Gubadli (Akper, Sarvinaz, Ramil, and two other family members)—from an illegally occupied apartment in the 12th microdistrict, Building 7A, Apartment 35. The court ordered the property be returned to its rightful owner, Samaya Aliyeva. However, the Ministry of Justice intervened, citing a presidential decree from July 1, 2004, which approved a state program for improving the living and working conditions of refugees. Under this directive, refugees without alternative housing cannot be evicted until they are provided with a replacement residence by the Executive Authority.
