Prosecutors on Demirchi Tower Murder
The murder in the office of Iraqi Airways in the business center Demirchi Tower was made on the basis of personal dislike, the Baku city prosecutor's office said.
According to the same source, a driver in the Azerbaijani representative for the Iraqi Airways, Azerbaijani citizen born in 1989, Elshan Rafayat Oglu Bashirov as a result of a dispute, which occurred on the basis of personal dislike, intentionally killed the sales manager of the same office Agaali Valid Ali Oglu. Bashirov fatally shot five times at Agaali from his Winchester rifle.
A criminal case was filed under Article 120.1 (premeditated murder) of the Criminal Code. Bashirov surrendered to police and gave them the rifle as the instrument of the crime. The investigation continues.
Note that the victim was the brother of an employee of the Iraqi embassy in Baku. This is confirmed by the statement of the Iraqi embassy. At the same time, the embassy said the incident has nothing to do with the embassy. -06D—
