Referees Took Victory from Karabakh
Dramatic was the ending of the football match of the group stage of the Europa League between Agdam Karabakh and the Milanese Inter in Baku in the evening on December 11. At the last minute of the added time (90 + 4) the attack of Karabakh ended in a goal. So, after a corner, the ball was in the penalty area from the Brazilian legionary of Karabakh, Almeida. He did not hesitate, shot on goal and the ball hitting the Italian football player changed its direction and flew into the goal. However, to the bewilderment of the Karabakh players and 30 thousand fans of this club, the Czech referees did not count the net goal. From the fact that the arbitrators after this episode completed the game, it was not quite clear how they motivated their decision. It is possible that they recorded an offside position. However, the repeated episodes clearly showed that the Karabakh players in the penalty area and, of course, Almeida were behind the players of Inter - there was no offside.
The draw would suit Karabakh if a similar result would have been recorded in the match Dnepr - Saint Etienne. However, Dnepr won and after Inter it received the right to act in 1/16. Thus, Karabakh took the third place in the group and showed the best result among the teams of Azerbaijan and the South Caucasus in the European Cup.
Baku Neftchi two years ago (2012-2013 season) was also out on the group stage of the Europa League, but then the Azerbaijani team played three games in a draw and lost three games and dropped out of the competition, taking the fourth place in the group. -06D--

Although there were many complaints regarding the election process, the CEC did not affect the results in any constituency but annulled the results in more than 40 polling stations overall. The commission declared that the elections were conducted at a high level. However, several opposition forces stated that the elections were conducted based on pre-prepared lists.
