Residents of Imishli fell victims to "financial pyramid"
Baku /11.10.22/Turan: The police of the Imishli region detained residents of the village of Khalfali Vugar Gafarov and his cousin Bahadur Gafarov on suspicion of fraud.
The investigation into the case was conducted after several residents of the Imshli region stated that they had been deceived by these persons who promised them "high profits" from investing money in a certain "investment platform" on the Internet.
The police found that the detainees in a short time embroiled a large number of citizens into a financial pyramid created in social networks.
In fact, a criminal case was initiated in the investigation department of the Imishli police department under Articles 178.2.1 (fraud by a group of persons by prior agreement), 178.2.2 (the same actions committed repeatedly) and 178.2.4 (the same actions causing significant damage) of the Criminal Code.
According to the court's decision, the Gafarovs were arrested. -06B-
