Salaries Established for Religious Figures in Mosques
Baku / 01.05.18 / Turan: The State Committee for Work with Religious Organizations has established salaries for imams of mosques operating in the country and their deputies (naibs).
The head of the State Committee, Mubariz Gurbanly, said the monetary allowance of the imams will be "over 400 manat, and the sum for naibs will be over 300 manat." The head of the State Committee did not specify how much the word "over" means.
According to him, the list of religious figures has already been drawn up. The funds will be credited to the bank accounts of more than 1 thousand religious figures. -05D-
