Sale of Tickets for Grand Prix of Formula-1 to Bring 2.5 Million Dollars
Revenues from the sale of tickets to the Grand Prix Formula-1, which will be held in Baku in June, will amount to 4 million manats (2.5 million dollars). This was said by the Minister of Youth and Sports Azad Rahimov.
He recalled that 30 thousand tickets are on sale. On-line sales began on February 19. Now tickets are also sold in the box offices.
There are no restrictions on the sale of tickets, he said. Citizens of Azerbaijan and foreign countries can purchase any number of tickets, the minister added.
The ticket prices range from 19 to 472 dollars. At the same time, there are 20-40% discounts for Azerbaijani citizens. European Grand Prix Formula-1 will be held in Baku on June 17-19. -06C-
